Aktuell erweitert BORBET seinen Fuhrpark z.B. mit schicken Elektroflitzern: Die „E-Smarts“ sind ab sofort an den deutschen Unternehmensstandorten im Einsatz. Dabei sorgen die BORBET LV4 Räder in 5,5x15 Zoll für kompromisslosen Fahrspaß. Die edle Farbvariante „black glossy“ rundet den zukunftsweisenden Auftritt perfekt ab.Das Thema Nachhaltigkeit ist bei BORBET seit Langem fest verankert: Erst kürzlich wurde der Traditionshersteller als weltweit einziger Räderproduzent erfolgreich nach dem Performance Standard der Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) zertifiziert. Diese Non-Profit-Organisation hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, entlang der gesamten Aluminiumwertschöpfungskette mehr Nachhaltigkeit und Transparenz für einen verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit dem Rohstoff Aluminium zu schaffen.
Das E-Smarts-Projekt sorgt für einen weiteren, wichtigen Schritt in die Zukunft und hebt das BORBET Motto „Egal, wie gut man schon ist, man kann immer besser werden.“ auf das nächste Level.
BORBET IMPLEMENTS SUSTAINABILITY PROJECTS
In Medebach (North Rhine-Westphalia), we replaced the conventional HQI lighting in other areas with LED lamps last year. The replacement represents a small building block in BORBET's sustainability strategy.
BORBET USES WASTE HEAT
All BORBET sites have launched initiatives to reduce energy consumption. The use of waste heat at our melting furnaces was particularly successful. Burner air preheating was successfully introduced at the sites, where hot exhaust gas is passed through a heat exchanger to return energy to the burners.
