Daniel is now responsible for casting optimisation in the Development & Design department.

What exactly does an cutting machine operator (m/f/d) do?
As a cutting machine operator (m/f/d), you will use state-of-the-art CNC technology to machine our light alloy wheels. Here, every thousandth of a millimetre and precision counts.
YOUR WORK DAY
06:00 a.m.
The first thing on the programme is the morning briefing with my trainers about the tasks ahead.
06:15 a.m.
We prepare the workshop for daily work.
06:50 a.m.
Now it's time to start machining the workpieces on the lathe or milling machine. I mainly produce accessories for our moulds.
09:00 a.m.
During my break, I fortify myself and chat to my work colleagues.
09:30 a.m.
After a brief consultation with the instructors about the progress of the work so far, I continue with other workpieces.
12:00 p.m.
Lunch break!
12:30 p.m.
I machine other die accessories and my trainers give me practical tips to optimise the turning/milling processes.
02:00 p.m.
I tidy up my workstation, sort out the tools I've used and clean the machine.
02:30 p.m.
My working day is over and I'm looking forward to my evening off.
