INNOVATION MEETS PERFECTION: WITH BORBET AT THE ESSEN MOTOR SHOW 2024.
From 29 November to 8 December, the Essen Motor Show will again be the performance festival in 2024. As a leading manufacturer of wheels, BORBET will once again be demonstrating what innovation can achieve in terms of design and technology.
The BORBET TF is the first 24-inch wheel from BORBET to turn an Audi Q8 into a real eye-catcher. The type designation stands for “twenty four” and in the elegant colour variants “graphite polished glossy” and “black rim polished glossy”, the new wheel design shows what distinguishes “Made in Germany”. The undercut process, for example, guarantees weight savings with precise shaping and enables a wheel weight of just 20.4 kilograms. With a wheel load of up to 1,050 kilograms, the new BORBET wheel is an ideal companion for many SUVs.
The visual highlight at the trade fair stand is the BORBET XV study, which sets new standards in surface finishing with its innovative hot stamp technology. The PERFORMANCE+ hot stamping technology creates breathtaking designs - from dynamic colour gradients to razor-sharp decors in photo quality. This allows surfaces to be customised and an unmistakable brand stamp to be put on the wheel. This sustainable process impresses with its abrasion resistance, UV stability and chemical resistance.
As a genuine “high load wheel”, the BORBET XV is already available in 19 inch and “black glossy” and “black polished matt” in the BORBET range. The XV wheel is designed for a wheel load of up to 910 kilograms and is already available for a large number of vehicles with ABE and ECE approval.
The BORBET DB8GT2 is a crowd-puller for all tuning fans. In spring 2025, it will be available in the new 9.5x19-inch version with an offset of 42 and a 114.3/5-hole bolt circle for the JDM market in “black matt” and “bronce matt”.
The Halo-X carbon wheels, the latest highlight from DYMAG, a leading manufacturer of high-performance wheels from the UK and recently part of the BORBET Group, will be presented in 11x20 and 13x21 inch sizes. DYMAG can look back on a history of over 40 years in the development of lightweight and innovative wheels and has made a name for itself in motorsport in particular. The Halo-X, originally developed for the racetrack, will also be available for the road with TÜV/KBA certification from the first quarter of 2025 - especially for the Porsche 992 and 911 GT3 RS vehicle types. With its magnesium centre section, a particularly slim wheel profile and high rigidity, the super-lightweight wheel sets new standards. With a weight of less than 9.5 kg in the 21-inch version and a load capacity of up to 850 kg, it stands for outstanding performance and lightweight construction expertise - proof of DYMAG's innovative strength and technical excellence.
