Nacht der Berufe BORBET Thueringen

A CAREER YOU CAN TOUCH AT THE HIDDEN CHAMPION.

On 26 October 2023, BORBET Thüringen GmbH once again invited interested young people and parents (m/f/d) to the Night of Careers and gave them an exclusive insight into the modern training workshop and career opportunities at the international automotive player.

BORBET Thüringen was one of eleven companies from Bad Langensalza to organise the "Night of Careers". Two free bus routes took the young people through the industrial estate and the town of Bad Langensalza to give them an insight into various industries with a wide range of training occupations.

After the welcome, the visitors were given an introduction to the world of light alloy wheels at BORBET Thüringen and received initial information about the "hidden champion" in the automotive sector. Apprentices from the wheel manufacturer then guided the participants through the production area to the training workshop, where around 110 young people and their parents learnt about the wide range of apprenticeships at the region's largest employer. Trainers and trainees presented the various fields of activity using practical examples: From electronics technician and tool mechanic to industrial clerk and IT specialist, there was something for everyone.

"We seamlessly built on the success of the first Night of Careers in March with the second event. In addition to many discussions with interested pupils and parents, we were able to receive a number of enquiries for internships during the event," says Norman Fell, Head of Training at BORBET Thüringen, summarising the event positively.

The application phase for the coming training year is currently underway. The virtual trainee world offers an exciting insight into career opportunities at BORBET.
