YOUR WORK DAY
06:00 a.m.
My working day starts at 6.00 am. I check the order list of the workpieces to be produced that are needed for the casting moulds. I then discuss with the trainers which workpieces are to be produced first.
06:15 a.m.
I plan my work and set up the lathe or milling machine that I need for machining.
07:00 a.m.
Before starting work, I check the lubricants and safety equipment again so that I can start machining.
09:00 a.m.
And then I have a breakfast break.
09:30 a.m.
We continue with an urgent order. The maintenance department needs a new component because the existing one has broken during operation. We produce it quickly so that the machine can run again.
12:00 p.m.
Maintenance informs me that the new part fits perfectly. Now I've earned my lunch break.
12:30 p.m.
I continue with my task of the day and produce the mould components.
01:45 p.m.
The working day is almost over. Now I'm going to clean the machines and tidy up the training workshop.
02:30 p.m.
Closing time!
